A message from Lesley Caviel, chief cake designer at The Cake & Sugarcraft Store...  (Previously Cake for all occasions)

"I have always had a creative side and in the past used outlets from jewellery making to sewing to express this, but as the third generation of cake decorators to come from our family I suppose it was only a matter of time before cake decorating found me and since then I have never looked back.

Starting out with cakes for family and friends this soon turned into a full time job and in 2001 a non stop business, and after promoting my designs at Exhibitions throughout South Wales and with mentions and tributes in the local press and on the radio it really took off.

This can be one of the most rewarding of jobs, creating designs that mirror a clients taste and themes, whilst producing creations that have every guest saying ‘WOW look at the cake!!’ can give an amazing feeling and they taste great too!

Our success is due to our original and innovative designs, the attention to detail we show and our flexibility, this has all stood us in good stead as a premier supplier in the South Wales wedding services market."
